it might happen but not for a long time, there arent even any pc HD-DVD drives. I suppose they could take the drive out of a standalone HD-DVD player and hook it up to a pc and try hacking the movie protection but it will be a long time before they are burnable. And the protection on these new discs will be bloody hard to crack.

That is an awesome idea. I am sure someone will come up with that idea, if not DVD X Copy first.
