Have you tried any other programs?
How's the condition of the disc?
I just did this title today. Even with the latest version of AnyDVD and after running it through VOBB to blank out the annoying trailers, Shrink still had the invalid navigation error for me.
When this happens, I first run it through DVDFab and then follow the aforementioned procedure. As always, it worked.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Try it out with DVDShrink while running AnyDVD 6.0.0.4 in the background. Alternatively download the .PSL2 file for your region of the movie and import it into DVD Decrypter, then rip it to hard drive, then run VOB Blanker and blank vts_26_1.VOB (for R1), after this you can burn or shrink then burn the resulting output file.

As I always say, I like preserving the disc. But after blanking the dozen or so trailers, in addition to the music video, and all the warnings, I think the final size was like 6.2gigs or something like that, which translated into a nice compression setting in Shrink.
Easy backup ;)

I have only tried with shrink and dvdfab, dvdfab rejects immediately and tries to send error report. I will try running the trial of AnyDVD and see if it helps any.

when i ran it through dvdshrink with AnyDVD in background i removed everything from the disc except the movie and soundtrack,no menus left etc, didn't have to run VOB blanker,AnyDVD seemed to take care of it all according to the log book,I think I am sold,it was pretty dog gone easy.

I have DVD43 and 1Click and have had no problems with either Underworld Evolution or Madagascar (as others report same problem). Works so easily that anyone can do it.

AnyDVD + CloneDVD2 has never failed for me either. I just looked today, another upgrade four days later to AnyDVD 6.0.1.1. It seems like a higher version very often now a days which is good that they're keeping on top of everything. I just hope Slysoft continues to do this for years to come.

You guys must not have the most recent version of dvdfabdecrypter because it worked for me. Then I used shrink and Nero. Works just fine! Just update dvdfab, it'll work.

I have even tried copying the dvd to the harddrive directly. I am getting the crc error.
Is this just a messed up disk?

Hi mojoala
May be a bad press - try cleaning it off or use another drive to read from.
Which programs have you tried?

Sorry mojoala I just assumed you had already tried the programs mentioned in this link. So you may not have a bad press.
This movie has Sony's ARccOS on it so it will give both programs a problem by their lonesome.
You can rip with DVDFab Decrypter (free) than process those files thru Shrink. http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm
Or have AnyDVD running in the background w/ Shrink. Free 21 day trial.
