Been using Kazaa for a while now but recently had to reformat the PC because of a virus. I backed up all the Kazaa download files (i.e downloadXXXXXXXXXXX.dat) onto CD.
Reformatted PC, installed Kazaa, upgraded to the new version (2.1 or whatever it is now) and copied the downloads into my shared dir. Kazaa wont read them so my question is how can I resume those downloads?
Surely someones had the same prob?
Appreciate if you could spare 5mins to answer. Cheers
Weird thing is is that I DID it before on one of the very early versions (must have been at least 1.0) by just copying them back into the dir.
I dont get why Kazaa cant resume considering its the same format and file extension it uses. Ive even saved the whole directory but it wont even load the main programme.
Kazaa is designed for broadband users if you ask me, as they can easily resume...
Anyone out there willing to create a patch or something so Kazaa can resume out files?!
