I'd go this route.... Three dollars more, but faster shipping and a more reputable source!

That's way too much $

Hopefully the package matches the actual media. Beware of ebay dvd media. Lots of fakes, and mis-identified media. I've seen r media being advertised at rw media.Huge price difference.

Sams club has the 8x verbatim. The +8x will code as MCC-003 and is very good stuff. Hard to find locally.

Check out office max, office depot, and bestbuy. They have the verbatim +16x- MCC-004 for $15 a 50 pk spindle, when on sale. I believe office max has them this week?

maskeeta- Yup Yup! Saugmon's right ! Verbatims are excellent media ! but Don't spend over $15.00 per 50ct. Spindle unless it's Specialized media - Lightscribe / DVD+R DL/ INkJET Printables ect. Those tend to be more expensive Albeit the printables a little less so then the other two. But as long as you don't need or want to use those specialized functions regular Branded verbatims shoulg work just fine!BESTBUY usually has the Verbatims on sale like Oh! every other week . Either them or Sony's this week was Sony so hopefully the verbatims will show up on Sundays sale somewhere ! Phew ! that was a lot of S words! As Saugmon said SAMSCLUB usually has the verbatims in stock ! though it depends on the store whether their 8X or 16x . I find SAMClUB prices Slightly higher than other retailers Sale prices but better than other retailers non- sale prices if that makes any sense ? Sams Prices Do fluctuate up and down somewhat but they're usually close to the others ! Also if you go to a samsclub store be sure to look for the Close out shelf or as My Wife calls it the OOPS RACK! Often You can find great bargains there ! Sometimes they'll put a spindle of media there and mark it down really cheap Because the shrink wrap is torn - The spindle was'nt used or actually opened but because of the wrapper looking ratty they'll sell it at a loss ! Or becuase the spindles are older stock & they only have a few left ! same thing markdown time ! I've bought evrything from DVD Revorders to Ceiling Fans that way and saved quite a bit ! So it pays to look ! And no I don;t work there either ! but I do shop there ! maskeeta The thing with online retailers is unless the shipping is free ! you can often catch a deal locally @ your retailers That meets or even beats the online stores once you factor in shipping & or Tax if you live in the same state as the online retailer! Main thing buddy , watch the sales and when the right media is the right price for you buy it and may the burning begin ! Have fun , Good Luck , & happy Shopping!
