sue10436,
Welcome to the forum. Are you using DVDFAB Decrypter and is it the newest version. If I remember that movie correctly you might need to rip it to HD using DVDFAB Decrypter then use VobBlanker to correct the structural errors and then use Shrink to compress. You can also use AnyDVD ( 21 day free trial offer and there is a $5.00 off offer at this time for AD Members) along w/ Shrink

sue10436,
You should have a fox's head in the taskbar that is red. When you insert a movie in the drive that fox head will turn pale and then red again. After it has turned red you can now use whatever program you want to compress the movie w/ as the decryption has now been removed.
All AnyDVD does is decrypt the movies and it does not compress them as you have to use another program to do that

I just tried AnyDVD and I keep getting a message about my drive being disabled. The movie is in the drive and it is working. I don't know why it says that it is disabled? Am I doing something wrong?

sue10436,
Lets try this. Go to the fox head in the taskbar and right click it. Go to Settings then Drives and then selection and make sure the drive has a check mark next to it

Thanks...it worked! I was able to burn that movie. I think I just used AnyDVD and DVD Shrink. I don't think I had to use DVDfab at all. Does that seem right? I tried so many things...I'm not sure what I did!

Search woulda been your best friend here. There were multiple threads (too many probably) concerning this title.
Anyway, glad it worked out for ya ;)
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

I did try search, but only found 1 thing. Maybe I was using it wrong, I typed in Fun with Dick and Jane error, and it came up with only 1 thing.

trexmerc,
Did you rip the whole DVD to HD w/ DVDFAB Decrypter? You can also use the 21 day free trial version of AnyDVD and if you right click the fox's head in the taskbar and go to Rip DVD Video to HD it will use FixVTS to correct the structural problems and then use Shrink.
In VobBlanker all you have to do is click on the ifo file( that DVDFAB Dec created) and then on the right hand side click on process all and then at the bottom click on process. Go drink a cup of coffee and in 5 minutes it should be done.

Car.Mike, you sound very experienced...I am thinking about purchasing AnyDVD (my trial is almost up). What do you think works best on all movies? I have used AnyDVD and clonedvd2. This combination works well for me...it will cost 59.00. Before I spend the money...do you think these 2 are the best for all movies? Thanks!

sue10436,
Both are excellent programs for the person that is getting into DVD Movies as they are being updated. I do not think you will be disappointed
