go to a torrent site and find the windows media player 11 without the wga check , its widely available , i think as long as you have a valid copy of windows and a valid serial , and have never dloaded and installed the wga tool , that you should be within your legal rights to dload and install the wmp 11 , because this whole wga is all volentary anyway , i think if you had dload and installed the wga then you would be subject to obeying the wga contract that you excepted when you installed the wga tool .
i dont really see how microsofts getting away with forceing everyboby to either run wga or dont get any extra dloads , i paid for my copy of windows when i bought my machine , to me they have no right asking me to prove my innocence , this is complete bull sheet and i refuse to install it as should everybody else !!
if they think someone is useing a pirated copy of windows they should have to go through the same proccess as the riaa or the mpaa does when they think someone has stold something from them .
pretty soon when we insert a dvd or any other media into our machines i bet were going to have to validate it to be sure its not pirated before it will run our systems lol , were letting these people creep further and further into our personale pc's and as long as we keep allowing it the more its going to continue .
for those of you who dont have a firewall installed go find one of quality and install it and see for yourself just how many of your little programs are calling home and telling on you so to speak ,
if your not running a valid copy of windows then i would not dload the wmp11 as then you would be considerd to be a pirate and you then would be breaking the law for sure !!
