Did anyone get this working? I tried using the new 0.41 dev hook, but it didnt work...it just crashes. I already patched the fifa iso using the patch by MeetJoeBlack. Is there like a setting i am suppose to change for it to work? Are there any different loaders that will make this work?

Did you patch it correcty? the iso should be named original.iso, then after its patched use these settings to run it:
UMD Select: Fifa 06 World Cup
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
UMD Version: 2.XX -> 2.00
CPU Clock: 333 MHz / 166 MHz.

Yup, it's patched as instructed. I copied the patched.iso and placed it in my ISO folder, when i press "START" the system reboots and froze in the middle of the wavey thingo and it shuts off. When i turn on the psp again, it tells me that "setting infomration is corrupted. Press the O button to repair and restore to default settings."
Hmm... any help here? I just tried again it did the same thing
just for the record, what's the file size of your patched iso? mine is 1.438gb

Copy your devhook folders again, i cant remember what size mine was because i made it even smaller..

I have. Still the same..... Maybe is there something missing like... flash files or something? firmware dump? Cause I haven't downloaded any firmwares or flash files.

that file only contains the dh file....no psp folder in there.

no theres two folders, dh and PSP put the dh in root and psp in root, then it will say this already exists, pres yes to all..

I have just downloaded it again, it has only ....
MS_ROOT > dh
something.txt
something.txt
something.txt
something.txt
There's only dh folder inside the MS_ROOT folder... perhaps you can upload it somewhere? or another link?

I have that and already using it.
I copied the dh folder from that ----_v0.41a.rar file and placed it in the root of my memstick overwritting the dh folder i previously had before. I tried it again and it did the same thing. Maybe i am suppose to remove my UMD in the psp first?
Btw you're suppose to run this with the Device Hook right? not that "devhook firmware installer"?

Well here's the step by step story....
Got the EUR english 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP iso file
Applied the MeetJoeBlack patch.
Placed the patches.iso file in the ISO folder
Placed the new devhook files in the memory stick and PSP/GAMES folder
Launched Dev hook
Changed the settings excactly as you've told me
Selected "START"
Syetem reboots and the sony welcome screen comes on
when the welcome screen comes on that very split second wavey animation goes and it pitches to black kind of colour and froze. Then shuts off.
Turned on the PSP again, the error screen came on.

Anyone???? I tried the PRX method.. I got the PRX's from Dead to Rights... But there was only 2 matching ones.. I did it and it didn't work... just froze and shuts off. How do we know what games to obtain the PRX's from? Is it just any 1.5 games? Anyone else got this working? Please let me know.

Its got nothing to do with the prx changing, its something to do with the firmware of devhook, try putting a umd in before it restarts..

it didn't work. this is strange i've never heard of a case where someone is able to work a game out and the other can't, having the excact same setup.

mds 88: i have the exact same problem as you... and now the only thing that shows is the Screen with "corrupted settings etc"! how do i get it dissapear???

when i had that problem it kept coming up even when i was pressing o it would reappear after 10 secs or so
