DVD and CD media help?

Hello! I just had a quick question regarding proper CD and DVD media. I was looking at a couple of other stickies and saw that somthing like memorex is a good bet for DVDs. However, I was curious about DVD+RWs and CD+RWs. I'm hoping to buy one of each, and test each backup before burning on a non-rw one. Do +RWs generally work as well on a new V14 slim PS2 as +Rs? Thanks!

If you want to use RWs, make sure you get good quality ones (I use Verbatim and Sony ones), although it depends a bit on your luck too, my V12 reads RWs fine, but my friend's V9 doesn't like it. Also just because something doesn't work on RW doesn't mean it won't work on Rs.

Bottom line, you can use RW to try games, but if it doesn't work it doesn't mean it won't work with R and don't use RW to play games for a long period of time, it'll kill your laser a lot faster if you do that...
