i just bought a k700i off a friend on the same network tryed to put my sim card in and it comes up unlock code.do ineed to contact the service provider or should i get unlocked for any network need help?????????????????

Assuming you haven't got your SIM card password protected, looks like it may be the phone itself is locked (detected another SIM card in it). You might try 0000 (usual default code). If that doesn't work, contact5 your friend and find out what the code is. Thats the only thing I can think of.
