Can this one disk really do all it says here --> http://www.ps2cover.com/ultimate-swap.shtml

Can it play PS1, ps2 and DVD movies from any region with all those features?

Is it worth the 35 bucks?

It can't play PS1 games.

Personally I'd get a modchip, it does all the things swap magic can do plus much more, the good ones are Matrix Infinity, DMS4 Pro or crystal chip

I have a psone modded so if the disk doesn't play ps1 i wouldn't be too disappointed. Given cost as an important factor in my purchase and safety of the ps2 equipment of equal importance wouldn't it be a less riskier option to use a swap disk like the Ultimate Swap? after all i had some bad experience since i modded my psone (a professional modded it) and after sometime, now it refuses to play original disks and only a few backups at that.

after all this Disk does say it plays any DVD region's movies which is a big factor for me. please help. thanx.

The biggest issue you'll have is with the laser, and using swap magic and modchip doesn't really make a difference, because the laser is usually damaged while playing burnt games. I'd suggest getting a laser fix installed, which means you'll have to get a professional to install something in your PS2 anyway... and if you really don't want to get a modchip, then swap magic + flip top would be the next best option :)
