PSTWO Connection Help...

I've had this PSTWO for about 1, 1.5 years now and have had no problems whatsoever. I've played SOCOM 2&3 on it a lot, but for the past week or so whenever I try to connect it never lets me, or on SvR2006, it connects for about 10 seconds and disconnects. I tried resetting the router, switching cables, switching where the ethernet cord connects to the router, setting up a new network connection with the disk, and still nothing. My dad says he thinks the network jack is bad or something, but can anyone give me an idea on what's wrong here and how to fix it? Thanks.

I would suggest trying to connect your ps2 at a friends house and see if it works there, Its a procces of elimination.
My online game would always freeze right before launching, I called up playstation costumer support and asked them what was goin on, they told me to update my firmware for my adsl router and now its fine, I doubt thats your problem though.
