Ok im trying to burn a Wiggles movie for my child onto DVD. Now i did used to be able to do this ages ago, and i've forgotten.

I have the specific file, when i go to use DVD Shrink, the file won't appear anywhere for me to open it. So i tried converting it but still won't make a difference.

Is there any program or anything i need to do prior to using the Shrink program?

It was an MPEG file, i think i converted it to an MPG file, not sure if it's any different.

Dvdshrink will not recognise MPEG file it will only recognise VOB files. You will have to convert your file into VOB files. In order for you to convert to VOB files, you need a software like Nero, winavi, DivXtoDVD etc... You can download divxto dvd by using this link provided below and it is free. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v...
After converting to VOB into a folder then open dvdshrink and it will recognise these files and from there you will need Nero or imgburn to do the burning for you. Happy burning.

Thanks so much for your prompt response, Henryting. Your advice helped me alot.

Is there a Guide for Newbies on here from Step 1 - end about how to burn a DVD successfully? There probably is somewhere, but i couldn't find it!
