Maybe one day you had water on your adapter and you plugged it in?

Sorry buddy, but it seemed like your 2.0 Amperes fuse blew. You have to open up your psp to bridge it.

OR

Your psp is fully charged.. go to the system settings and look at the batter level.

You made have overcharged it. Check if the battery has like a bump init where it my have blown up a little bit (this happened to my mobile phone battery) If it does, you will need to buy a new battery

There is 1 way to check which is VERY risky...

you must cut an AC adapter, disconnect that yellow piece there that's on ebay, and put both cut ends of the ac adapter in the little holes. If it charges, then you need another yellow piece.

My idea is nuts.. nevermind me... lol

not at all.. I did it...

just make sure you keep all the parts where they originally are and use a phillips #000 to open up the psp

but just make sure you keep your warranty sticker in contact. there is a way...

i can tell you this. start from the left corner when removing the sticker and do it slowly and patiently.

well i dont need to worry about the warranty sticker as i bought it off ebay and the B******s ripped off all the serial no's warranty stickers etc lol. this PSP has been a bit of a nightmare but well worth it.

How about making a usb charger? you can either make a car-to-usb charger or usb-to-power cable charger (you obviously don't want that one)

Yes. No doubt. You're 2.0 Amp fuse blew somehow. Did you have metal going in the ac adapter slot that wasn't the adapter.

Shortening = fuses blown.

But you can solder it back if you know how. If you get another PSP, I'll like to know what you're going to do with this one.

Thanks

yes ive tried a usb power cable and a car charger but again no luck. i can see myself either investing in a desktop charger or just coping with charging it through my brothers psp.
