Yea...that.

There are very few threads I wanna subscribe to, I think the default status for "Subscribe" when replying should be set to 0, not 1, although I guess it does help noobs get their answers.

I would also like to see the possibility to change that setting permanently, as i reply to tons of threads each day, and having to keep unticking that option does get annoying at times.

i think it would be best if it remembered what you selected last time and used that as the default, if this is possible.

It fills my mail up too.. What gets me is it informs me when I reply as well..That's a pain. I don't mind the subscribe bit.. It's nice to have a record of the last few days, but I can't get the email notification turned off unless I set my mail provider to class it is spam and block it. I visit here more often than I visit my mail (nobody loves me.. boo hoo!)

To Borhan, bilbo65 and Rav :
I don't think you guys get what me and the others here are saying here...
We're not suggesting the setting itself changes, but rather that users get the option to automatically have the thread subscription unchecked, so that us people who DO find it annoying at least have a choice.

I get what you mean now. Before i was thinking about the box we have at the bottom of it anyway soo thats wat confused me. But ya if we have that option it would be good but I'm not fussed either way.

Lol, I forgot that I made this post.

The thing for me is that I'm a multi-tasking kind of person, I usually have at least 3, sometimes 15 FireFox tabs open, flipping around between them, gathering links for responses, or listening to music, or whatever. There have been lots of times that I've replied to a garbage thread, i.e. an invites one, and forgotten to unclick the box...so as the_fiend said, I'd just like it added to the cookie to remember the status.

set notification 0 , or..whatever.

It's not hard now, but I'll go on spurts and all the sudden I'm subscribed to 8 threads about whatever, and I load up my email...and kazaam...but yea, no worries, I just thought it would be a nice tweak.

I cant be bothered to unsubscribe from any thread, since joining I think I may have unsubscribed from two threads but thats it I am now subscribed to over 300 threads, :(

I have just noticed also the nice little addition at the top of the type messgae box there Bold Italics Red etc. buttons, the URL button makes life very easy in deed, but there is no underline button or striketrhough
