hey guys, if I use network updates on my psp firmware 1.5, will it update my firmware to 2.6 or higher? I know this may sound stupid but i am just curious.

i believe so
i think it updates it to the latest firmware = 2.71 or something
don't upgrade it.. lol

it should connect to the psp fw distro site, and automatically download the newest firmware (2.71)..how far do u want to update(and why?)

If you are worried about accidentally upgrading, dont be. You are promted several times before you upgrade, and if in doubt, just switch your wifi switch down, that way there is no chance of updating.
