Is it possible at all to stream PS2 games from a NAS (specifically hacked Linkstation) to a PS2 with HDD and network herdygurdy?

I am leaning towards the possibility of it working if I installed the Linux software and mounted it etc..etc...but without software (I'm using the exploit currently) is it possible? or indeed with the software is it possible?

Many thanks

nah you cant stream games they have to be directly stored on your ps2 HDD and loaded with hdloader. to get hdloader and linux to run off the same hdd files need to be edited somewhere.

The theory is pretty cool, but what catches my eye first is that the NA wont support the data throughput needed to stream the game. Besides, like andrew said, it all has to be stored on a single CD, or in this case, a single partition on the hdd.

I think the theory is cool too ;) My NAS has been hacked to run Debian and so can do alot of things (just an 'apt-get' away)

a little more explanation?

Beside, if I install linux on PS2 and then mount the .iso image on the NAS it would'nt see it, would it? I mean it would be a linux box and not a PS2?

I've never heard of it done, but it sure would be cool!!!
