Audio of sync after 7 DVD

I recorded 15-12 VHS tapes into harddrive via TV card. Every movie plays fine with audio in sync.
I burned first 7 DVD without problem, all of them were in sync.
And then I added on avi file made by PPS Animation with sound added on via virtual dub in the beginning of videofilm. played just fine and after burned , it is of the sync.
Removed new file and still the same off sync.
Reinstalled Nero 6 and the first DVD came out fine, with audio in sync. Burned another one of the same file I burned before. Off sync again.
Could Nero program be corrupted by homemade AVI file(the sound were longer than video itself).
I guess I have to keep uninstalling Nero 6 before I burn one DVD.
Forgotten to mention I recorded VHS home movies on DVDformat (mpge2).
Any answere?
