Hey everyone, I have been hacking Coast to Coast for a little while now, in preparation for trying to get it to work w/ DevHook 0.40. I still have yet to figure the new DevHook out, as I still can't get Splinter Cell to rip from the UMD. As soon as I can get it to rip, I will be able to use DevHook 0.40 to get a feel for it while trying to get Splinter Cell to work. I need to figure out how to get a 2.60 game working on this so I have an idea of where to go w/ Coast to Coast. (I am doing it this way b/c Splinter Cell is confirmed working.) Then, I will continue my work w/ Coast to Coast. I have already unpacked the giant .Dat file (actually, it's called 'ALL.PSP') and I've found the PRX files. I've changed them out w/ other PRX files mostly from GTA:LCS and 1 PRX file from 'Infected'. As soon as I can get DevHook 0.40 working, I will try to get OutRun working and will post any settings I find.
I iwsh u the best, but that file named ALL.PSP it what is holding u back, there is no way to decrypt it at this point. I like ur dedicaiotn though!!! Keep it up;)
Oh yes, there is... Mwahahahhahaah.... I have a "Special" rip kit which extracts ALL of the contents of ALL.PSP. I have already been working with it and I have replaced the PRX files, but got pissed and deleted it when it wouldn't work. Little did I know, all I needed was this new DevHook and I think I can get it to work. I'll be able to let everyone know in a day or so...
Sorry, but I'm not giving up on this one. I NEED this game to work on a 1.50. It's the only game I don't have working yet that I've wanted. I want something done, I git 'er done. (most times, sheesh...)
I love ur dedication!!!!! Honestly, not trying to be a downer, but i frequent many psp forums and not 1 person has got outrun running, it the only game that is giving ppl migraines. If u can get it running somehow, let me know, casue outrun has always been 1 of my favs;)
