Hey,

I've got an older PSP, which ended up getting a cracked screen. Is there anything that can be done to fix it? Can the screen be replaced?

It has an older version firmware aswell, if it's not fixable, is there a way to take some of the hardware from the older fw PSP, and put it in the newer one to downgrade the fw?

yeah i think u can get a new screen on ebay 2 replace urself or other places probly. u can get it fit as well just do a lil google search im sure ul find summin. yeah the motherboard can be removed n replace 2 change firmware

Are you sure it's the screen that's cracked and not the faceplate.

It's the screen thats cracked underneath the top cover(guessing thats the faceplate). Infact the cover is cracked aswell now by my nephew p*ssin about with it.. :(

Will have a look on ebay, cheers bud. Ebay to the rescue again!

ok i dont think there 2hard 2 replace urself... just a few torx screwdrivers required i think and im sure ders a guide out der sumwhere. and yeeah the whole front of the psp is the faceplate which ur gna need 2 replace now.
