hi,

I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I'm wondering if anyone can try and simplify things for me.

I've a new DVD +R/RW and the latest copy of Nero. I'd really like to burn all my downloaded movies on to a DVD so I can watch them comfortably. The movies are in all different formats - .avi (xvid).avi .mpg divx etc

Is there a simple way of doing this. Reward for any info!

well, sry no real simple way....but they way i do it is as follows.....
1.use tmpgenc (free) to encode to a high quality svcd.... there are how-to's at dvdrhelp.com

2.use tmpgenc to simple demultiplex the created .mpg

3.use ifoedit (free) to make the files needed to burn dvd (.vob .ifo..ect...)

4.start up nero...start dvd video option....then load all files created by ifoedit into the "VIDEO_TS" folder on the new dvd you are creating in nero burn!

thats how i do it ....hope it helps :)
