I am using DVD Shrink along with running AnyDVD. When I copy the DVD and insert either another DVD or the same one to make another copy, my computer isn't recognizing that there is a DVD in the drive. However when I reboot, it has no problems reading the disc in the drive. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't think it is a problem with my DVD drive.
DVD Shrink 3.2? I use DVD Shrink often but I don't have this problem. Anyways, this AnyDVD, is that a program? I also have DVD region Free that runs on mine. Anyways, when you burn these dvds, are they readable on another dvd player other than the one on your computer? If they read on other devices, then check you drivers for you dvd rom drive. Otherwise, try Alcohol 120. that works great for dvd copying. By the way, what burning program are you using with DVD Shrink?
I am using Nero as my burning program and AnyDVD is a program by SlySoft that is an add on to remove certain protections from DVD's. Like now I can copy the Disney movies. Yes I am using DVD Shrink 3.2.
The DVD's that I burn play well on any DVD player I try them on and so does the one that I am burning from. What is Alcohol 120? Is it an alternative to DVD Shrink? My one complaint with DVD Shrink is this issue and that fact that you can't specify to burn more than one at a time.
alcohol 120 is another burning program. I don't use it a whole lot since I do most of my burning through Nero. Also if you plan to use Alcohol 120, you have to disable or delete the current burning software because it will cause conflict with the burning menus, such as it won't allow you to choose the burning speeds etc. Anyways if you plan to burn more than one at a time, make sure to save the files that you are copying from the dvd to the hard drive and then use Nero afterward to make mulitple copies. Also with that in mind, make sure you have all the settings adjusted to the VOB files which should all be stored in a separate folder from everything else. In that folder that you specify for DVD Shrink to copy, all your vobs, ifos, and vts should all be there. Simply use Nero and locate that folder and make your copies since it allows you to make as many copies at once as you wish. Gryph
