my wife just went to sams club or office max i forget wich one she bought some sony dvd +r did a check the id came up as YUDEN000 TO2 27 BUX FOR 75 THERE THE 1X AND 8X MADE IN JAPAN IT SAYS DVD+R ACCURE I THINK THE NUMBER IS 50DPR47LS3

you just got yourself some genuine Taiyo Yudens in the 8x DVD+R variety, simply superb quality discs~

$27 for 75 is a little high in price, but these (Sony MIJ 8x dvd+r)are getting harder and harder to find these days locally, so, it's a good thing your wife grabbed em' while she could...

when local stores have their media sales, a good price for these would be approx. $15/50 or $30/100 pack~ :) but it's very difficult to find any more MIJ Sony 8x rated speed, especially in the DVD+R format from what i have found locally for ME in CA~ your success/luck might be different depending on where you are geographically located, and your success will depend on which stores in particular carry which brands and from which country of origin~

kivory im not for sure i think they were lil cheaper il find out tomrw where she boughtem i may have to buy some more im in chicago illinois skokie as i was typin i backed up end game burn seep was great damn good quality. as for mij whats that mean these sony says accucore on the bottom left thanks

MIJ = made in japan~ :)

the discs, whether branded Sony or not, to be AUTHENTIC Taiyo Yudens, they MUST be MADE IN JAPAN, you will not get the Taiyo Yudens if you purchase the spindles that have MIT ( made in taiwan) near the bar code of the wrapper~ so, double check before paying...

i did buy some imatations or something like that id was ritek g2 or something they were good thanks for the info i havent posted in along time i need to start helpin out the noobs on here but the new sony protection like hostel has me bummed out i guess theres more to learn

anydvd by slysoft is a very good option for the newer protections, i purchased it and use it MYSELF with nothing but success on all my backups. :) dvdfabdecrypter is FREE and a good option as well~

So sony advertse TY discs as made using their ACCUcore technology? Thats just like Maxell advertising the GO5's as using HGX stampers. What next, Verbatim advertising Princo as using AZO?

gracie idk man but the id checker said it was YUDEN000 TO2 so im good burns flawless the disc doesnt feel as cheap as most i just found my new media i dont care as long as its made in japan says yudens
