Hi there!

Basically, I got an old Xbox, v 1.0 And I wanna softmod it. Now, I know what to do, and everything, it's just, can I install EvoX AND Unleash X and any other dashboards I want?

I'm using the dualboot open tray = RETAIL mode so I can access my Xbox Live account. But I heard I can only access LIVE through DHCP (aka Automatic IP??) Anyone confirm this and if so, how do you turn on DHCP?

Also, I can use AID3 to install the dashboards.. but do I install the
DHCP version of the dashboards or the normal versions? (If I can install another dashboard while still using the EvoX dashboard. Like.. "Launch apps from HDD" and Unleash X could I install to this list?)

I've looked at most tutorials, but they dont mention these questions.

Cheers!

-Mike

just install the softmod like u explained retail=open, power button=modded install unleashx when it prompts u what dashboard to install...after u install the softmod boot using the power button and go to your modded dash next go to settings/network and change it to dhcp now save and then boot to your open retail dash and make sure them settings our on automatic....and you will be good to go...
*****BIG NOTE-YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN XBL ACCOUNT ALREADY MADE BEFORE YOU SOFTMOD IT BECUZ U CANT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT ONCE IT IS SOFTMODDED*******

I use EvoX simply because I was told to (Hehe) But I just installed XBMC as an app and it can do everything including game saves.
