PS2 CD DECK DEAD TRAY DOESN'T WANT TO OPEN

I have this playstation 2 and the cd deck is dead no power is going to the tray but the power lights at the front still comes on.The tray does not want to come out the mottors do not move and the lens does not light up. what could be wrong with it?

Did u previously remove the laser drive?

I ask, because i think that your ribbon cables that connect the spindle motor, worm motor and the laser to the Mother board may be disconnected

also, what version PS2 do u own
