LOCO,

I found that earlier today too. Pisses me off they never have specials like that on the DVD+R hub printables. Ended up buying from amazon.com @ .50 a disc w/ shipping.

Mort...LOL

I didn't even pay attention I thought it was for +R's, thanks for saving me from ordering tomorrow. At any rate, it's still a good deal for someone who wants the -R flavored discs.

i'm all about diff. "flavors" LOL :)

i don't especially like Verbatim DVD-R flavor discs, they work, but honestly, being the DVD+R guy that i am as i know both you guys are too, i wish the sale would be for the DVD+R format too, i would def. pick some up~ :)

i juss recently got some Maxell MIJ Hitachi made white full hub printables MAXELL002 (8x dvd+r) from Office Depot on sale last week, convinced the manager to manually adjust the price to correspond to their $15.20 price for a 50-pack in their flier, he gladly did it and i was a happy camper~ :) walked out with 250 white inkjet full hubs printables (some in the DVD-R format too MXLRG03, also 8x flavor)

i have yet to try Verb printables, so, when the DVD+R format goes on sale, i am going to pull the trigger~

Ken,

You are a lucky dog (in a good way of course) and quit persuasive I might add. I've yet to personally try any maxell hitachi's. I would have to order them online and pay premium price.

@Doc

Those Maxell's are what I used to use exclusively, but you can only find them in my area for $40 per 50 pack so I had to start using Verbatim. Needless to say I'm more than happy with the results, both full hub printables and both excellent quality discs...the verbs may nose out the Maxell's by a hair if that.

interesting...

well, i haven't used the Verb printables yet, so i guess i will find out soon enough when the DVD+R are on sale, as i mentioned earlier, i don't care for the DVD-R Verbatims personally~ :)

i also trust mort81's feedback/experience in terms of Verbatims...printables or what have you, i also appreciate YOUR experiences too on the Verbs~

will keep an eye out for any printable sales in the future, good lookin out on these Verb printables you linked to in THIS thread of yours, not my cup of tea, but may well be for others that use DVD-R format~

to appear in MY top 3 list is pretty impressive: Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, and the MIJ Maxell (Hitachi made) ones are MY own list of media i will use in that order~ :) i do like Ritek media (ricohjpn too) as well and have had a lot of success with it, but they have slipped a spot unfortunately due to the other medias being on sale at a good price.

when spending X amount of dollars for ME, i have my preferences as to what i can get with money spent~ but usually, the decision isn't difficult, 90% of my media fund go to Taiyo Yuden, go figure? lol

kivory666- I guess we'll never have to worry to much about calling you Doc Verbatim !! LOL! I prefer the Taiyo's too myself & have bought it whenever I could either under the Taiyo Yuden , Sony , Or Fuji banners ! But Like their predecessors the Mij Sony's are getting a little more difficult and harder to find ! I like the Branded- Taiyo's like the sony or fuji's because they are easier to wtite on & look a little neater with the Sharpie ! But in a pinch Genuine Taiyo's Shiny Lacquer 's Work well with a sharpie too ! I know I can get Taiyo Yuden Inkjet printables on line ( Whites ) but being Frugal ( Read Cheap ) hate to Spend the extra Money ! well Keep up the good work & post doc Verbat... I mean Ty!
