Aquamarine full vs. wide versions

Aquamarine is 2-sided disk... full & wide versions. Most movies will be authored so the full/wide versions of the main title are nearly the same size... it has been my experience the 16x9 version is even typically slightly smaller in size... but close, in any case. Aquamarine wide version was significantly larger... like, 40-50% bigger.!! I shrink-processed both versions... full=[aprx]3800mb wide=~5500mb. no problems with either... just curious if anybody had comments on this..??

BTW... there are completely DIFFERENT extras included with each version, also. Anybody saving extras should look at BOTH sides of the disk.

Welcome to the forum. One of the versions has to have different angles of the same movie that you can play if the DVD Player can do so.

thankx for the welcome... I been around awhile, just lost my old username. I hear ya... but 2 angles would hardly explain over 1500mb larger size..??...plus there is only ONE main title per side. Both wide/full versions are 24ch.=104 min. total. As I said... it's a new one 4-me; I've done quite a few.

That was the only explanation I could come up w/ as we are not talking about the whole disk but just the movie. There has to be multiple angle shots that your DVD player can switch too on that 1 side. If anyone has a better idea then you are welcome to expound on it
