im just wondering.........well i have charged my psp up today and its been left to charge anyway i go back hours later but the orange light is still on......so i turn on my psp and look at the battery charge and it says 100% so should the orange light still b on? even tho it says 100%

to answer your question:

You ever notice how when you download a file, the progress bar will show 100% as the file completes, but you can see the file keeps downloading? It prematurely states it is complete, even tho it is only finishing up. It's the same with the PSP. I think it's a deep cell battery and it will emulate the same behavior. It will say 100% even tho it can still be charged.

A way to prove this hype:

Take your PSP off the charger after the orange charge light goes off turn your PSP on for a minute, open up a homebrew game or w/e and then turn your PSP within a minute or so. Put it back on the charger again and even tho it was 100% b4, it will now start charging again for around 30 minutes to an hour.

That's just the way it is.
