yoooooo, i was trying out the new dev hook thingy(even though i dnt really noe how to use it) and i tried loading my monster hunter freedom game(2.5 i think), and it didnt work, so i was like ok, w.e., and then i saw the dev hook firmware updater, so i did it, and nun immediately happened. then i began to play my nex game, and it froze, so i rebooted my psp and right now its 2.50!!!! and i can't run any homebrew or applications or anything!! is there a way i can fix this?how did it update, my psp wasn't even charging..

now im confused, i rebooted it,and it went to normal, and i decided to click on dev hook again, and it ran my monster rancher umd, it froze, well not froze, jus stopped loading even though it was still moving, so i went back to the menu , and it was 2.5 again...wth, is my psp messed up? how do i use this thing

You should do some more reading about it before you use it .That is normal. You have to hold reset to go back to 1.5

hm, i jus noticed. now, wen i try to play monster hunter freedom(which works when i use runumd), it doesnt work with this loader for some reason..any suggestions? and how wud i get fight night round 3 working?

yes, your PSP will emulate v2.50 when you use DevHook. This is how you're able to play 2.50 and a lot of 2.60 games. (2.60 games only if you replace the PRX files in any ISO) To reset it back to 1.50, just do a hard reset. (Flip power switch up for 10seconds until it shuts off completely) Turn it back on and voila! Back to 1.50.

I think it's really cool. I love DevHook 0.40 and I have been playing a lot of Splinter Cell on mine. w00t!

thnx got it working, nuff respect. i notice multiplayer aint working tho, and i also had to take the .pad files out of it, which reduced it by half its size, all the way down to like 433 mb
