first of all let me say hi!!i need help with some disney dvds i have dvd shrink 3.2 it wont let me back up the file to my hard drive i have tried it on winnie the pooh and little einsteins but no go.i have used it on dumbo and it did work but these new dvds will not allow me to back it up.thanks a bunch uncle jeff

Download DVDFab Decrypter and rip to your HDD with this program, it is free and will do all the new encryptions. Then open the file and process with Shrink as usual.

Or you can try the trial version of AnyDVD which is a driver that works in the background to break encryption. Run it behind Shrink and then process with Shrink. After the 21 day free trial the program runs out and you must pay to keep using it.

You mention here about using DVDFAB Decrypter then Shrink. Is DVDFAB doing the burning or is another burning software needed with Shrink to do the work?

I have used DVD Decripter 3.5.4.0 with Shrink and it worked well but I wanted to get past some of the newer encryptions. I removed plain Decrypter and installed Fab but I am not getting any burns with Shrink. I can't get Shrink to see my burner under "select backup target".....it only give options for "iso" and "hard disk folder".

DVDFab Decrypter will rip all the knew protections, however it only rips. You still need DVD Decrypter to burn after you process with Shrink. Here is a guide that explains how the programs work together.

Ahhhhh ok....explains why I can't burn after Shrink finishes! I was thinking Fab took the place of plain Decrypter completely. I'll re-install Decrypter and give it another try. Stay tuned :)
