Best Software for DVD2DVD and VHS2DVD?

Hi there.

I have just spend an hour+ searching for info in this forum about the different software for copying a DVD to another DVD. No luck making a choice, so now I post this message - hoping I don't repeat other newbie's questions ;-))

I have a DVDRecorder (+-RW) and a standard DVDPlayer with WinXP Pro.

I would like to make a copy of my own DVD-movies (also maybe my one DVD-game) and in time copy all my old VHS to DVD's...
I have had a look at many different software and tried DVDXCopy XPress - which I find fairly ok. But many write here, that it is no good.

What software should I buy to do the trick? Also any info I can use is very welcome...
