Hi I was wondering if any of you know about the website "Modobots.com. I havent done any modding but their site says it will mod it for me, and i have to pick it up in 2-5 days. Am i gonna get jipped??
I just dont want my ps2 to be stolen (unlikely) but just wondering if theres anything on the privacy statement or warranty that might reassure they wont screw me over. I seem to remember it is a house not a buisness that they are located in.
well there is no real way to insure you will not get ripped off.
But you can send the package via Priority Mail and insure it for very cheap. If it is not returned you can just collect on that and get a new one.
Are you in the USA? I know a few reputable modding sites here like'
Teammodders.com who i know 100% will not rip you off
trustedmods.com is also suppose to be good
no ,i am here in canada about an hour away from edmonton
(where modobots is located) so i can drop off and pick up in person but this is a house not a buisness building that kindof makes me a little weary, im just wondering if there is anything that i can use to make sure this works to backup my ps2 games and that i dont get my ps2 stolen.
i would say if you are close enough to drop off the unit your ok, then you know where they live. The only modding service i know in Canada is gocybershopping.com, but they are kind of expensive.
P.S. lookingforward to game 7 tonight, i guess i know who your pulling for :)
Me being in Carolina will be pulling for the Canes, but either team would make a good champ. The oilers have had many historic players on their team over the years.
thanks guys, to bad for the oilers. they played like champs.
haha just one last question what mod chip would allow me to play DVD-R backups. i have done some research, they only say cd-r, and some other formats. im pretty sure this would work or it would defeat almost the entire purpose of modchips.
all of the top mods allow you to play dvd-r but usually the media type depends on your system and dvd-r are the most compatible type of media. People more often have problems with dvd+r not working.
