Rock0,
Welcome to the forum. Below are the errors: You need to remove your serial number. It starts w/ 1A20..................

1.Nero API version: 6.6.0.14
Using interface version: 6.3.1.4

Install the version below and go no higher as the other versions are buggy

nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1

http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

Package 2

http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

2. SCSI Exec, HA 3, TA 1, LUN 0, buffer 0x026F6400
Status: 0x04 (0x01, SCSI_ERR)
HA-Status 0x00 (0x00, OK)
TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND)
Sense Key: 0x02 (KEY_NOT_READY)

The burner and computer are not talking to each other

3. Recorder: DVDRW IDE 16X, Media type: DVD+R9 Double Layer
Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC MAG, Media Type ID: D01, Product revision number: 0

That d/l media is some of the worst on the market. Use Verbatim D/L blank media and try burning at 2.4

4. What is the brand and model # of the burner as it is just showing up as a generic burner. You might need a firmware update

5..11:08:45 PM #27 SCSI -1106 File Cdrdrv.cpp, Line 1436
SCSI Exec, HA 3, TA 1, LUN 0, buffer 0x04C50000
Status: 0x04 (0x01, SCSI_ERR)
HA-Status 0x00 (0x00, OK)
TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND)
Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)

The burner sees the Cmag disk but it is having a power calibration problem as it does not understand the MID Code the Cmag has. Again a firmware update might help

6. File 'Drivers\InCDfs.SYS': Ver=4, 3, 15, 1, size=99584 bytes, created 5/13/2005 5:03:52 PM (InCD4 driver for win NT/2K/XP)
File 'Drivers\InCDpass.SYS': Ver=4, 3, 15, 1, size=29696 bytes, created 5/13/2005 5:03:30 PM (InCD4 driver for win NT/2K/XP)
File 'Drivers\InCDrec.SYS': Ver=4, 3, 15, 1, size=8704

EDITED :
Looks like you have Nero INCD install. Get rid of it as it will cause conflicts.

Thanks Arniebear. I must have had another Brain Fart. I know about INCD and how I got that in Roxio instead of Nero only God knows.

Lol, I too have those "brainfarts" but at my age they are now senior moments. Anyways, Roxio/InCD they are both problem causers. But, what is interesting is that I have never had Roxio, won't use the program. However, after a reformat of my comp and installing the newest version of WinAmp, the Roxio driver shows up in my Nero log. I have a feeling that WinAmp has incorporated this in their program for burning, so I think I will now check out and see if people who say they have no Roxio installed do have this :)

Hey thanks for all this help :D!! This is why i love this site; i'm always recommending this place to friends for help.

Well i got those discs because they were the cheapest ones >.> <.<..
I guess i could spend a little extra for better ones. I've downloaded and installed those updates; now all i need help with is the firmware.

Would i go to their site for it? Or do i have to do something else? Well whatever the outcome thanks for al this help!

Rock0,
Since your burner is not listed you will probably need to go to the Manuf. website or call them to see what burner you have and where to get the firmware update from

Looks like your burner is a BTC DRW1016IM / DRW1116UI. You can get a firmware update here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1913

The latest version is A187.

Edit: In a post in another forum, the user said that This http://www.drvupdate.com/ was on the front of the drive, and that A190 is the most current firmware.

Good Luck!

@arniebear

It's ok to install and use Roxio with Nero installed (just not InCD). Have had both for years and never a problem. I have Roxio Drag to Disc installed too. EZCreator for me has a better audio program than Nero. Just more accustomed to it I guess. Roxio is bad however because they just sell a version and that's about it. Not much updating.
Nero is hands down the DVD king of the two.

@garmoon

If you have both and have had them for sometime and they are happy together do not worry about it. I had InCD for many years and never had a problem, I just never let it startup with the computer. I no longer use it so have not had it on my computer for about a year. If you have any problems with Nero, then it might be wise to uninstall Roxio, but if all is well let it alone. Just my two cents on the matter. Cheers :)
