i was on amazon uk the other day looking to buy a 1gb memory card!! a seller says they are sony 1gb memory card and the pic is a sony memory card but when i read his feedback custermeres have said there fake there not the real sony 1gb cards!! will a cheap fake 1gb memory card do the same job as a real 1?

I was sold a fake 2gb stick on ebay about 2 months ago and it works fine.

same here, blagged a 2GB one for £32 on Ebay , now 2 months in and it is still working fine.

But some people have been shafted by fake cards so its a bit of a lottery.
