Hi

I just received Magic Coder 3.8 and MagicKeys2. The reason is I got a copy of Macross for PS2 which I really want to play on my European
Slimline PS2, serial SCHP 70003 I think.

So, tool A and B go in as instructed but the Tool c is a right mess.
I spent hours to try to get the disk to spin with no luck at all.

Also I am really nervous because I don't know if I could damage the motherboard inside as it really feels like I am scratching as I am trying to position tool c.

I have looked at the forum here and found that I am abvioulsy not the only one with the problem for tools c. I don't the metal cover that the later PS2 versions have spo I thought it should be a breeze to fit it press it and there goes the spin of the drive, but no.

I am so frustrated as I don't want to damage my console, but not I am just straring at the game.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Gian

Cant really help u with the magickeys, they are a pain. If u are looking for a qucik fix to hold u over till u get that figured out, you can always try the tape and tissue method. I used it until i got my aftermarket fliptop for my V12 slimline. Here is a link if ur interested.
