Any one put the firmware hack on there hitachi-lg drive yet? and another question i know the drive has to be the 47d and i just got my 360 so i have the warranty still so should i just open it to check if i have the right drive or just wait for the other firmware?
And can someone tell me wich is the right way to use wxripper ive seen to ways 1.you put swap disk in then find magic # then stop drive then put 360 game the dump 2.you put swap disk then stop drive then put 360 disk in then then press magic # i have a feeling it is number 1 i just wanna make sure before i start wastin dual layers

Yep, updated my hitachi firmware and to be honest it was a whole lot easier than the samsung firmware.

As for the wxripper either method works fine, however I use the 1st method you listed.

yea it is alot easier i just dont know if im gonna do it right away becuase of my warranty but hey i relly dont want to spend 60 bucks a game and thanks for post on wx ripper i had three games dumpd and i deleted them both becuase i read a tutorial a different one and it says to do it the other way so i thought it was wrong so im i gotta do it all over again

when you click extract all, do u put the folder in any place or are u supposed to put it in the drive that has the blank disc.
