Hi,

I'm having the following problem: When I try to rip and encode a vob file, I always get an error message. I get the same message when I use flask mpeg, so I suppose it is either a hardware problem or an OS problem. I also get the same message when I try to encode already ripped vob files. Therefore, I suppose that it is an encoding rather than a ripping problem.

This is the log file I get from that Dr. Watson program (excerpts in German):

My specs are:

Processor: Intel P4 @ 2.4 Ghz
Mainboard: Asus P4B533
DVD-Rom: Toshiba SD-M 1612
graphics card: nvidia riva TNT2 Model 64
OS: Win 2000

Can anyone help? THANX!

PS: Just had this idea: I copied the WNASPI.dll from Nero to the dvdx folder... but then of course that doesn't explain the smart ripper crashes...
