http://www.m3chip.com/

I just purchased a brand spanking new PS2 slim model version 14. I'm thinking about modding it, so I'm trying to choose a chip. I found this chip on maxconsole.net and been curious about it. I cannot find anyone that has installed it or any reviews on it. Though I have found several websites that sell it, and the website itself has diagrams. Looks like it might be what I need, but I'm kinda nervous to get one though unless I can find some people that have had some experience with it and can recommend it to me, or recommend a different chip.

Anyone taking a look at this thread heard of this chip or had any success with it? I've been searching google for the past few hours, and unfortunately the firewall at my job blocks alot, but I still cannot find any info on it. Any help or advice would be awesome!

I'd recommend Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro, they are far better chips than the M3, and they both have built in flash memory so you can upgrade the firmware in the future.

It does appear the DMS4 Pro or the Matrix Infinity are the ways to go, I still can't find anything on the M3 Mushroom Mod, I should have known by the name. :) Thanks for the info!

mushroom mod is quite a decent chip, but not very popular anywhere due to the cost. people usually opt for a more expensive chip like matrix, or cheaper chip like duo.
