here is my question.

i have a really really old xbox and it doesn't load the games correctly. and i know it is the cr drive.

i also have another xbox that doesn't work. can i just take the cd drive out of the that one and put it in the other.

the broken xbox has a 1.6 cd drive. and the old one is a 1.0


is there anything else i have to do?

Nope..just swap the drives over. They are totally plug compatable, but there have been some strange things with putting 1.6 drives in older boxes and swapping the makes around.. give it a go and if it seems no improvement post again.
