does anybody know a good dvd burner so that can make my .avi files to dvd?
when ever i burn it with nero there is always a sound delay

That problem isn't burner dependant. For some reason, that seems to happen a lot! I have found that using ConvertXtoDVD (http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/) resolves the sound delay.

In my case, it starts out small, and tends to get off more and more the longer the video plays.

yeah! thats exactly what happens to my movies aswell!
its so anoying init!
so this convert x is gonna resolve this problem right?

Yes, it will. As you can see from the log snippet, roughly every 15 minutes, the audio is off by about 1/4 second, so after about an hour and a half, it would be off by about 1 1/2 seconds. I'm playing the video from the log now, and the audio is perfectly synchronized an hour into it.
