Stupidest thread Ive seen all day.
Why would we void our warranty when the specs have already been released.There aint no need to take a $600 console apart to see what we already know.which ones better is a matter of opinion it would not be solved by taking them apart :0

Been there done it.. It's a games console. What makes or breaks a console is the quality of the games. If they are the same old rubbish they have been pushing on us since the xbox/ps2 war then neither will do as well as the makers are hoping. I can't justify, by what choice of games there are at the moment the price of a 360, and because I still have my ps1 with over 600 games that I have never completed most of then another sony product doesn't show in my wants list anytime in the forseeable future. As for Nintendo...been an also-ran since the snes. Down to samey boring games..How much Mario can one person take??
Just my 50 cents... It's your money buy a games console..get drunk..stick it up your backside for all I care..spend or do what you want with it.. I will only buy something because I need..want..or would like to own it. Not because some marketing liar or fanboy tells me I should... That's why I'm typing this on a 6 year old P3 600.. It does what I need it too so why spend any more on it?

Janrocks:well said.Marketing gimmicks don't bother me I just won't fall for them.I like some things of all the consoles but It really is the games that sell the console.For me playstaion has the best games, but It's really a matter of opinion.The wii and 360 have good games and good points about them too.
Please dont void your warranty for just the sake of argueing about which console is better people.

Did you hear something tycobb??.. It just gets me, which is /is going to be.. better.. It's like which is best Barbie or GI Joe? Depends whether you are male or female and what your gaming preferences are (though Barbie does look really mean in Joes clothes..kind of like a central american freedom fighter..ROFL). That's how stupid the whole debate is.. The Fiend put it very well on his page a few days ago.
It's a games machine..by definition a toy, and there are lots of people on this poor sad planet who have much more pressing concerns than which toy is better than any other.
I'm sure people in Darfur would love to be able to argue about whether the ps3 or 360 will rule, but I'm sure surving another night without being raped, murdered or robbed is just a little more important to them.
Now theres a good idea.. Instead of spending money on a toy, give it to a good relief/humanitarian organisation and make a difference. Even better use the money to fund working for one of the same agencies and at least try to make the world a little better.

I aggree.I mean I live in the usa and I admit we take things for granted.Just basic things that many don't have like food,water and a roof over my head.I like games but I certainly won't go without sleep if I don't have em.I'm not going to starve or sell my soul for a game machine lol.
That said I will probably get one or maybe all of the systems eventually.But not at launch when they are so expensive.And I sure as hell aint taking it apart when I do get one.

Aye.. Sorry i just got to thinking aloud there. Of course it's not for me to tell anybody what to spend thier money on either.
And as for opening something new while it's under warranty, well that's the same choice really. It belonds to you.. do what you want with it.
I loved all the kids whining all over the scene when those guys bought a 360 on release day and smashed it up outside the shop..Priceless. I like the way some people have a way of keeping it real. True.I'm not rich but true.
Here is a couple of links that have the specs on both 360 and ps3.This way you can compair em without taking anything apart or even owning one.

i wonder wen will the new xbox and ps will be out
imagine telling someone "Hey ya know wat i hav ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, ps5..." and so on and another person said "Thats nothing i hav xbox, xbox360,xbox..." (they really r comparing 'sony' VS 'ms') but now we are already comparing ps3 and xbox360, wat happens in da future? can we stop caomparing them? I DONT THINK SO!!!
