Ok this is going to sound dumb but whatever. Today I was trying to stick a piece of rolled up paper in front of the disk brake on the slim PS2 (you know, the think that stops the disk from spinning when the lid is opened). The rolled up paper would hold back the disk brake from stopping the disk, one of the things you have to do to load SMD's and such. So I stuck in the wad of paper, and omg look at that it falls into the PS2. So I make another wad... and guess what it falls in. So now I get pissed and make a third one, this time large enough to hold it and not fall in, and it works.

So basically my question is: can a little wad of paper screw up the internal hardware of the PS2? Thanks in advance.

There's the possibility of the two pieces of paper short circuiting something or catching on fire... I'd open the PS2 and remove it if I were you
