NO MATTER what i do i can't get color on the dvd.... and it not centered on the tv 3 inches are black at the top of the tv. why is it BLACK AND WHITE!

i suspect this is a download???
it is probably a wrong pal/ntsc format. if you play PAL on a NTSC tv it will be black & white & vice versa.
give us more details of what you are burning, where you got the file from, discs used, speed burnt etc

also more older expensive dvd players will not play both PAL and NTSC formats most cheap new dvd players will do you just fine and play both formats

Have you been able to burn a disc that you have or is this the first one you tried? In other words do you have any successful burns? What's the movie and what programs are you using? We need lots more info! Will it play on your pc?
