Hey All,

Recently i decided that i would MOD my version 6 PS2 with what i thought was a great idea, the DMS4 EZI Lite. According to the ads and sales description of the chip it is fantastic a fully functional solderless PS2 MOD! Except for the fact that it has about a 50% reliability rating. I only decided to really look into it after i started running into problems, but it didn't take long to find out just how bad this chip actually is. Atleast 50% of the people that i talked to after my failed attempts to install this chip all had the same problems and results as i did...a dead PS2. So now i own a Slim Line PSTwo and am looking for a new MOD chip for this machine...any suggestions?

Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro (NOT EZI) are your two best options :)

The EZI chips will work if installed correctly, But there are drawbacks. Like the fact that ,many people break them, or they can shake loose.
I suggest getting the DMS4 Pro chip soldered in by a pro.
unless you are real good with a soldering iron and tiny wires and soldering points i really do not suggest you try this yourself.
Matrix Infinity is another good one but make sure the site you buy it from is a reputable one as there are many clones out there.
