I'm trying to burn a back-up copy of my DVD and I can't get pasted the copy protection on the DVD. I'm using Nero Version 5.5.9 and Sonic. I downloaded DVD Shrink and CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD and DVD43 and a DVD Decryptor and I still can't get it. Any help would be very appreciated!!!!!! = )

You failed to mention DvdFab. If after all these programs you still have problems, I would suspect maybe a bad disc.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

first you should open AnyDVD and then insert a disc into your DVD BURNER then go to stauts screen when you see all the materials in the status screen on your DVD BURNER drive letter just go to bottom and tick ok! then open up clonedvd2 and click movie title only or backup entire dvd read thru the screens and let it go; btw update both versions so you will be good and DVD43 sucks and will conflict with AnyDVD i recommend you delete it off your comp ok let me know what happens! member update both AnyDVD and clonedvd2

I did everything Rob1026 said. But when it's finished creating the DVD Files so I can burn it then asks me to "Please insert a recordable media into drive D: I put my blank dvd disc in and it doesn't do anything and that same message is still there. I'm wondering if I maybe have to use a double layer disc because AnyDVD says it's a dual layer movie. Please help! Thanks!

it is most probably the writer not liking the media if it is failing to recognise it.
you will have to shrink it using Nero recode, DVD Shrink, dvd rebuilder or clone dvd to fit it on a single layer disc anyway. but if it were because of not using a dual layer disc it would give you a "not enough disc space" error

what brand of media are you using? & are you using the correct format i.e. DVD-R or DVD+R ?

also make sure your firmware is up to date

I'm using DVD-R discs with 4.7 gb data. I have tried using DVD Shrink and I had no success. Also where can I find Nero Recode because I'm using and older version and I don't have that on my Nero Version 5.5.9
