Hey guys, I'm a beginner of DVD burner. My DV is SONY 90E, and I had bought some devices to do with it. Several days ago I found a free ware called Sothink DVD EZWorkshop.
http://www.dvd-easy-workshop.com/
I must admit that my understandability is so poor that I can get through with the direction for use they have offered. I want to know if someone have ever used this? How is it going? Or, if there any software can do better work than the Sothink DVD EZWorkshop?
Any words will be helpful~! Thanks.

I've never used the software you mentioned.
Go here: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/index.html
There is a page to download software, and a page with guides, to tell you how to use it. Give it a try.

I'd use DVDFAB Decrypter, DVD Shrink, and Nero if you have it. If you're trying to do newer movies, you may also need AnyDVD, to get past the new copy protections.
Good luck!

Kits? Nero isn't free, but usually comes with most burners. AnyDVD isn't free, but has 21 day free trial. Worth every penny, after trial is up. It just plain works!

Most of the stuff on the software and guides page I linked to above, is free. When you download and install, it will tell you if it costs, after a free trial.

Anytime dealing with a software I don't know for sure about I try to find out if it contains spyware. first by Googling, then by installing (I have a spare machine I can test stuff out on) and, finally, by scanning w/ Ad-Aware and Spybot.

Even some commercial stuff, some hardware, and even some "reputable" stuff has spyware or adware, so don't take this checkup for granted.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

got it, Dunker.
Even a piece of CD may has spyware or adware.
So, Write the programs yourself, that will be all right without spyware or adware.

Hi Sanguals,

1. You don't have to convert the movie to AVI before you burn a DVD.
It can convert ASF/WMV/RM/MPEG/MOV/Xvid/Divx/AVI to DVD.

2. About its virtue,I recommend its AVI to DVD function.

3. I don't know how to join different movies into one. Maybe you can write an email to their support team. My stupid questions always received an instant reply from those kind people.
