I hope this gets stickied(since the so called impossible has been done)


first you need to know how the banning works. This is what happens
when you sign on xbox live for the first time your eeprom and ur hdd are linked and stored in the Microsoft servers. so if you just upgraded your hdd you would still be banned and just changing the eeprom wont work because it would be linked with another eeprom. important note both eeproms must be the same version you can change versions with liveinfo but you might get probs.

1.ok first you will need a eeprom that has never been on xbox live
so it hasnt been linked to another hdd.you can get one from a friend
that doesnt play on live walt-mart has a nice return policy(i dont recommend this
because its stealing). so get the fresh eeprom and then you will need a new hdd
any size that ur mod supports and install it.

2.now for the tricky stuff you will need to get on xbins and get config magic and
install it on ur xbox or get it here http://team-assembly.com/downloads/ConfigMagic-FINAL.rar

3.now get liveinfo install on your computer also at xbins open the eeprom that is banned with
liveinfo and make sure the video and region are the same has the new eeprom and save the
changes if you made any.you can also get it here http://team-assembly.com/downloads/LiveInfo%20Beta%202.rar

4.take ur new eeprom and ftp it into your config magic data folder apps\config magic\data

5. now run config magic a warning will come up hit start then go to load eeprom then unlock hdd
then go to load eeprom from .bin file it will load then hit update eeprom then lock hdd and exit
config magic.

ahahaha...This is so funny you basically stole the tutorial from x-scene....I mean you should of searched before you made this tut....Or if ou did, and found this tutorial on X-scene, then that is really low......But the only reason this is funny to me is because you come bragging to us and bribeing us for money when if you searched you would of found someone else posted it for free

I've got a large collection from every box I've ever modded. Close on 200, and before anybody asks..No!!, they are for backup purposes only and I have no idea if the end customers have been on live with them, or even if they had been used on live before. All units were 2nd user before modding. I keep them in case of a disaster like the eeprom being damaged. Unlike a lot of people I do support my customers even 2 years down the road.

Did cearel steal this from X-S? I have been a member there for ages and I never found the tutorial that was linked to above. I'm sure as a senior if he used it then he'll edit it to show gratitude to the original writer. That's if he saw it in the first place. I was involved in a discussion about whether this should be posted and yes.. I knew how to do it before without seeing the X-S article. There are only a few ways of doing this anyway so even original work will always seem similar. cearel didn't seem aware of how MS linked the eeprom to the hdd until sunday.
I gave credit to an X-S member who wrote something I modified and have posted more than once. Even though his original work had faults and needed modifying to make it work. c'est la vie..

Yea... that's what I was saying...I'll give him props for writing it but he wasn't the first to figure it out or he wasn't the first to write a tutorial on getting unbanned. that's all.....
