I would want to stream a iso from pc to gc,with the PSO method.
With the GC Disc Server i can upload the loader.dol file ,the GC starts executing it,and i see a black screen with a gray message wich says "INITIALISING..."
From now on,the iso file should start uploading from pc to gc,but it doesn't :(
In fact,i see the HD led always off, which means that the hd is not being read.

I don't think the problem is the packet frequency and delay, because they are set to delay=20 and frequency=16 (and cache=4)
In the worst case there will be some packet loss in the gamecube side, but at least the file would be streamed from pc.

Could someone tell me what i've done wrong?

Another thing : i have also a Qoobo SX chip installed, but i need to use the PSO exploit for streaming isos from pc because the laser is not properly powered , sometimes it can't read the disc and the game crashes...regardless of the type of support,i tried different ones,(princo, verbatim, and philips).

I don't want to adjust the laser power for now, because i'm not sure that the problem is just the laser...
I also could try to make a minidvd with the loader.dol file , than directly boot it from gamecube, without the need of using phantasy star, and it should connect to the pc with the GC Disc Server , is it so?

I'll try it,but in the meanwhile tell me what i've mistaken in streaming isos with the common method
thank you

get friendly with the command line and make use of PSOLoad and GCSim.

You can find them from here.. http://www.nintendomax.com/

during "INITIALISING..." the GC is loading the .dol so the dol has already been sent but after "INITIALISING..." the program will ask for you to press start and thats when the iso starts streaming

you can also mess around with ur cache size (some guy said it worked better at 80?)

- or use a diffeernt loader
