I made a backup of Grandma's Boy to an image file on my HardDrive and checked it before burning like I always do and when I go to watch the Unrated Version, there is no audio. When I watch the Rated Version there is audio. It even happens when I burn to a DVD. I need help in understanding before I waste $$$ on discs just to get this movie going.

I just figured my problem. I always use the "Remove Annoying Adverts and Trailers" & "Jump to Main Menu" options. This for some reason caused the audio to dissapear in the Unrated Version. So I just turned those options off and re-compressed with DVDShrink and voila, she works.
I would like to thank those who would have lent their 2cents to help me out. Your input would have been very appreciated.

you must untick two channel audio which is 99% director comments, then click 6 channel and you will be good on any any movie

why did DVDShrink work on getting both audio tracks for the Rated and Unrated and Nero Recode only got the audio track for the Rated version?
i burnt a copy with Recode and wanted to watch the Unrated version but no audio. so i decided to give Shrink a try and it worked. why is that?
could it be a bad printing or just Recode not knowing what to do? i had the same problem with 16 Blocks where the Theatrical Version worked but the Theatrical with Alternate Ending didnt when copied with Recode but worked with Shrink. could it also be that maybe its because i had "Remove Annoying Adverts and Trailers' and "Jump to Main Menu" turned on? because if thats why Recode buggered up, i had that turned off while using Shrink.
and thanks Rob1026 but i dont understand a thing you are trying to say to me. if i do, i think you're reffering to CloneDVD. I only use Shrink and Recode

i tried Unticking 2channel and leaving 6channel using CloneDVD2 v2.8.9.9
and it worked. thank you very much. now, will this also work on 16 Blocks. reason i ask is that it has the theatrical version and the theatrical version with alternate ending. my old method of using Recode flopped like with Grandmas Boys but using Shrink worked for both. ill let you know if it works for me if i dont hear from you. thanks again
