i recently bought a ps2 and want to play games and save them before switching off the console...but the thing is i don't have a memory card...i thought that i could save my gameplay on the USB..but no luck
can ne one tell me if there is a way we can save games directly in the USB without using a memory cardd???????

No you can't, you're able to transfer saves onto the memory card and then onto the usb but that kind of defeats what you're trying to do.

No, just buy a memory card, they are not that expensive

I think the datel memory cards are cheaper than the official Sony memory cards (size/$ wise), I have a 64mb memory card and it's great, I store all my PS2 homebrew programs in there, Action Replay codes, lots of game saves, and still got quite a bit of room in there
