I have burned several movies lately (Fire Wall, Running Scared, and Las Vegas Season 2) They will play fine on my new HDMI Samsung up conversion player, but they will have glitches with my 2 other players that seem to work fine otherwise. I use Any DVD, Shrink, and burn with DVD Decrypter. I was wondering if this is a problem with my other players or the DVD?? Is it an encryption problem??

It's probably a comptability issue. Have you seen any patterns? Like x-media will only play on one player but on another, it'll be problematic; X-media 2 will play on that latter player but not on the previous? Got what I'm saying?

Regardless, what media are you using to burn?

As for the lens cleaner, it wouldn't hurt to try (in fact it's always a good idea to do this), but I'm certain it's compatibility.

Could someone explained to me how lens cleaners work as they never touch the lens? Am I missing somthing? I wear drives out and have never had to do this.

I actually haven't bought one for a long time but every one that I've had has rows of tiny felt brushes that pass across the lens as the disc spins......

I have tried the lens cleaner, Its not that. I use Verbatim media and haven't had a problem until recently
